The Dolphins are flying high as Poole Town FC climb to the summit of the Southern League Premier South!
Football fans in Poole have plenty to celebrate, with Poole Town FC enjoying an exciting run of form that has taken them to the top of the league table.
The Dolphins secured a fantastic 3–1 away victory against Gosport Borough on 7 October, followed by a hard-fought 1–0 home win against Bracknell Town on 10 October. The results marked five consecutive league victories and propelled the club into first place. As of 13 October, Poole Town sit top with 24 points from 11 matches.
It has been an eventful period for the club, with the team also navigating a change in management following the departure of joint-managers Joe Lea and Pat Suraci. Josh Staunton and Jamie Whisken stepped in to take interim charge, and the team responded with an impressive performance against Gosport before continuing their winning streak at home.
For the local community, Poole Town's success is a welcome boost and a great reason to get behind the town's football team. With the season still unfolding, supporters will be hoping the Dolphins can maintain their momentum and keep their promotion ambitions firmly on track.
Come on, you Dolphins!
